Experimental High Energy Physics

The Institute of Theoretical Science is a center for research in several interrelated disciplines that encompass theoretical physics, theoretical chemistry, and mathematics. Elementary particle theory is one of the active areas of research. Topics under investigation include electroweak and unified gauge theories, quantum chromodynamics, production and decay of heavy quarks, quark-gluonplasma and heavy ion collisions, and the design of novel accelerators.
