Materials
- Hook: dry fly
- Thread: orange
- Tail: mink tail fibers
- Body: orange dubbing
- Hackle: grizzly
Tying Instructions
- 1.
- Attach the thread to the hook and wind back to the bend. Tie in a small ball of dubbing and then tie in a pair of mink tail fibers, one for each side.
- 2.
- Continue dubbing a thin body till midway up the shank of the hook.
- 3.
- Tie in a grizzly hackle and wrap about 4-5 turns. Clip the top and bottom
flush with the body so that there are only fibers sticking out of the sides.
- 4.
- Add a bit more dubbing after the hackle, form the head and you are done.
