Disclaimer
Well, I hate this kind of stuff, but since it seems people actually look at
this page occasionally I figured I should add something like this...
Initial Pledge
This page is housed in the University of
Oregon's physics department's web server.
Despite this, the things said here really have nothing to do with either the
University of Oregon or the physics department.
(Although, one could make the argument that since physics involves the study of how
everything works, and that the contents of this page would fit in the category of
"everything", and that since the University of Oregon's Physics Department studies
physics, and therefore everything and therefore, indirectly, flyfishing, that there is,
in fact, a connection between this page and the physics department... But that's
beside the point...) In other words if you are offended by anything said here,
(Like, for example, if I were to say that animal rights activists who are offended
by things like fishing more than likely have an intelligence quotient comparable to
the animal whose rights they are defending...) don't sue the physics department or the
University of Oregon (or preferably me either...), because they take no
responsibility for what is said here. In fact I don't really take any
responsibility for the accuracy or validity of what I say here either, so if you somehow kill yourself
following my instructions on tying a bead head pheasant tail
nymph, please don't sue me...
One should also note that I have built this page just for fun, but, since it is
housed in a machine whose purpose is to disseminate educational materials, I have
tried to sprinkle in a few things that could be argued to be educational (with approximately
the same logic as above). There are a few links to sites whose intent is to
actually make a profit from their web pages, but those links are provided for
your information only. No money been exchanged between anybody
for these links. Absolutely no profit (actually no money whatsoever) is being
made from this page.
IT IS JUST A TOY. Follow the instructions and play nice.
Thanks, and have a nice day.
