This is a subimago photographed a few hours after hatching.

And... the spinner above was photographed the next day.
Baetis hatch on the McKenzie, and most Oregon rivers, throughout the season, particularly in the early spring and late fall (this one was caught in early November). The body length on this particular one was exactly the length of a #20 hook.
