The above is a photo of a nymph, caught early in the spring. Ameletus are swimmer nymphs, with a webby tail to help push them along. They are somewhat difficult to photograph for this reason.

This is a photo of an adult, after it has molted into its "spinner" stage. I'm still not exactly sure that this is what I think it is, so take my ID with a grain of salt... (the nymph however, I'm fairly sure is right.)
