Stacy McGaugh received his undergradute degree from MIT.  Not
holding that against him, he was allowed to continue his studies
in Astronomy and received a Ph. D.  in Astronomy in 1992 from the
University of Michigan.  His thesis was concerned with the structural
properties of LSBs, their formation history and their present day
metal abundances.  He is currently employed as a PostDoc at the
Institute for Astronomy in Cambridge England.
