M61, also known as NGC 5055,  is a galaxy like M31 only it has
more star formation in its outer disk.  Again the central regions
of M64 should be visible in a small telescope but the faint
outer disk is difficult to discern.  Its overall size is
12.6 x 7.2 arcminutes.
