While this may seem silly there is a point to it.
The applet works by dragging either mass, length, or time into one of
either the 4 boxes in the numerator, or the 4 boxes in the denominator.
When you hit a real physical entity, that key word will appear. For instance if you drag length into the numerator and time into the denominator that will be meters/sec which is a velocity.
1. Using this method, determine the units that correspond to the following terms:
Acceleration
Force
Pressure
Energy
Momentum
Density
Power
2. The equation for the Universal Gravitational Force is given by:
M1 = mass of object 1
M2 = mass of object 2
R = distance between the two objects
G = gravitational constant
Using the units you derived previously for a Force. What must the units of G be?
3. The ideal gas law can be expressed as
Pressure = density x Temperature x K, where K is a constant of nature.
Using the units you found for Pressure, what units must K be in?
