Instruction for the Electronic Lab Book

For filenames use the convention:

xxxxL#.html for the spread sheet application and

xxxxL#.gif for the graphing or whiteboard applications.

where xxxx is the last 4 digits of your SS# and L# is the number of the lab exercise under the homework area on the main course page.

So if the last 4 digits of your SS# were 4561 then for the first lab you would name the file:

4561L1.html

Its important that you do your lab/home work with these tools and that you make steady progress throughout the term. Your rate of progress will be monitored and that will be part of your grade.

Each of the lab activities contains a number of questions which are designed for self-study. However, its clear that these are not being done in most cases. Therefore, start writing down stuff in a notebook that pertains to these questions and hand that all in the last day of class.
