Course Outline

In general, we make this course up as we go along.

The first 3--4 weeks will be spent on the following topics:

• What is the Internet and how do I get on it
• Navigating the Network
• How to build an HTML Document for the World to See

The next 2--3 weeks will be spent on:

• How to collaborate together electronically
• How to do shared document preparation
• How to prepare thematic, functional web pages

The remaining part of the course will be spent on:

How the Earth Formed
• How life evolved on the Earth
• Interactions between Man and the Earth
• Preparation of group web pages

Sprinkled throughout will be an IN and OUT of class assignments designed to facilite our activities.
