Hints about Printing out These Lecture Pages

1. The Large Font used in class is necessary so most of the class can see the projected words

2. The user can control the font size through the options/preferences menu item on netscape. Look for something that says fonts. Change the fonts size to a lower number and you should see a decrease in letter size on your page. However, different printers interpret different font sizes differently so there is not a good one-to-one correspondence with the printed page

3. Pages with embedded figures will be interepreted differently by different printers. Neither the author or the user has any control over this. You could try to turn image loading off and then print the page without the images.

4. By far the simplest thing to do is the following:
   • Go to the File Button
   • Find the Save As Feature
   • Select TEXT as the format in which to save the file
   • Print out that TEXT file
